All of our WordPress Themes allow you to replace the default sub page banner with any content you like.
Default Sub Banner
As you can see the default sub banner is good for content pages as it contains the page title and breadcrumb. The background can be changed in Wizard Panel under the pages tab.
You may wish to replace this on important service pages where you need to show off a product or service in full detail. We have a shortcode available to create the same banner as used for the homepage slider. This banner supports a heading, subheading, features, image, buttons & more.
Displaying A Banner
Viewing the Shortcode tab of Wizard Panel you will see the Shortcode for the full detailed banner. Copy this code.
Next open your page within your WordPress Admin panel and scroll down to the bottom to find the Custom Fields section.
Under the Add New Custom Field: section select the dropdown of name and select banner. The value used for banner will replace the default banner of the page.
Paste the banner code we copied earlier as the value of the banner.
You will now see the basic sub banner has been replaced with the new detailed banner:
As with all of our Shortcode the contents of this banner is fully customizable.
Displaying A Slider
You can also display a slider in replacement of the sub banner. Instead of using our Banner shortcode you can use a plugin such as Slider Revolution to display a slider for the page. When creating a slider using a plugin it will provide you with shortcode to display it within pages. Use this shortcode as the banner value to use the slider on the page.
