We are excited to announce the release of WizardPanel for WordPress v3.1, the first major update since we introduced the new standalone WizardPanel framework.
The move to a shared framework gave us a much stronger base for future development. With v3.1 we can now begin to take advantage of that structure, adding new features once at framework level so they can benefit every included design.
This release introduces a completely new navigation system, shared frontend assets, design and mobile improvements, a redesigned color toggle, a new snow fall effect and more.
What's New In v3.1?
New Menu
A completely new Menu2 navigation system with a mega menu, optional panels, 3 level standard dropdowns, customizable action buttons, a CTA and a completely new mobile menu.
Framework Assets
Shared images, CSS, JavaScript and fonts are now loaded directly from WizardPanel, reducing duplication and centralizing frontend updates. A stronger dependency system also ensures assets are only loaded when required.
Color Toggle
The light and dark mode color toggle has been redesigned as a modern icon-based switch for a cleaner, more compact appearance across all WizardPanel designs.
Design Enhancements
Modern Font Awesome icons, cleaner buttons, improved colors and contrast, plus a range of mobile enhancements including full-width buttons on smaller screens.
Snow Fall
A new simple on/off Snow Fall effect lets you add a seasonal falling snow animation to your website directly from WizardPanel without an additional plugin.
Updating To WizardPanel v3.1
WizardPanel v3.1 is the first update since the new framework architecture was introduced. Your existing settings and current design remain in place when updating, while the new framework features become available for you to enable and configure.
Update Access
If your Updates & Support subscription is active, WizardPanel for WordPress v3.1 is included and can be downloaded from your Zomex account at no extra cost.
If your subscription has expired, you can renew your Updates & Support access to receive v3.1 together with future versions, compatibility updates and product support while your subscription remains active.
The Framework Starts To Pay Off
WizardPanel v3.0 created the new framework structure. Version 3.1 is where we can begin to take advantage of it.
Features such as the new menu, shared frontend assets and dependency system can now be developed once and used across all WizardPanel designs. This reduces duplication, keeps the product easier to maintain and gives us a much stronger platform for the features and improvements we build next.
