How to enable a SSL certificate across WHMCS

This tutorial is part of our WHMCS security tutorials series.

In your WHMCS admin panel you will find all security & function warnings under the help > system health status menu. In this video we will be focusing on resolving the PHP version warning error.

First login to cPanel and look for the Let's Encrypt SSL button1 (this is a free SSL cert provided by cPanel).

Click on this icon and then across down and click on the issue button. Follow the process to activate the SSL across your whole domain.

Next go to WHMCS admin > setup > general settings > enable the SSL by changing the URL of your system URL and domain from http:// to https://

Once changed your WHMCS should then use https:// for all pages both on the front-end and back-end side.
