V3.4 Features

Zomex Template Manager (settings area) | Video Demo - All of the settings in the old configuration_template.php file have now been moved to a custom admin-based settings area.

Easier future upgrades - Any plan names, specs, pricing, links, preferences you set in the settings area will be safe when performing future upgrades from V3.4 as they are now saved in the WHMCS database (in a similar way to how WHMCS settings are saved). The language text has also been moved to a separate folder so it won't be lost when upgrading WHMCS in the future.

Full control of plan tables | View Screenshot - You can now edit every feature, option and title on the comparison table of each plan/page. We've also added the ability to automatically display a check or cross icon (by using a value of check or cross) to all fields in the table.

Full control of plan boxes | View Screenshot - You can now add your own set of 5 features & pricing (with monthly or yearly option) for each plan of each hosting type.

Full control of homepage feature boxes | View Screenshot - Set your own feature boxes, there's so much control that you can even promote non-hosting specific products/services on the homepage. We've also added the ability to display 6 boxes, 3 boxes or turn them off completely.

Easily changeable hosting pages - We've made it very easy to change the 6 built-in hosting pages to anything you like (guide now available). There's even no need to edit the menu links in the template files as it's done automatically.

Custom CSS box - In the settings area you'll see a box where you can add custom CSS that's automatically applied to all template pages & protected from future template upgrades. This is extremely useful if for example you wanted to override colors/fonts/spacing set by the default template CSS files. You could even use it for example to remove the sub-menu instantly.

Easier to understand/edit code - For those looking to edit the template files (HTML) you'll be pleased to hear that it's much easier to understand with the use of new includes (the separating of key HTML such as the menu, feature boxes, functions etc) and in-file notes.

SEO enhancements - Heading tags (h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6) & alt tags (image descriptions) have now been adjusted for enhanced on-page search engine optimization.

New documentation - Zomex Template Manager, How to add links to the menu, how to make a page use full width, how to upgrade to V3.4, how to change the hosting type of default pages.

WHMCS livechat ready - As WHMCS's livechat is very popular and widely used it made sense to edit all livechat buttons/links to function automatically with it by default.

Further changes:

- The language text that was previously added to /lang/english.php has now been moved to /modules/addons/zomex_template_manager/lang/english.php. It works in exactly the same way as before but with the benefit of being protected when performing future WHMCS upgrades.

- Thanks to the new settings area we've been able to scrap the old home.php file in favor of WHMCS's index.php file. A redirect is in place from home.php to index.php in case any visitors access the old homepage file (search engine listing will also update).

- Main sections of code previously found in the header.tpl & footer.tpl files have been moved (templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/includes/) to simplify these files. For example the HTML for the dropdown menu once embedded in the header.tpl file is now available at templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/includes/menu.tpl. We've also moved the confusing functions loaded in the section to separate files.

- Some changes have been made to certain templates such as on the Bright Fury template the once 4 homepage feature boxes have been replaced with 3 boxes (for the sake of consistency).
