Hi Jack, WOW
I had customised our Ice template so much I thought I would never be able to update it..I was wrong
I followed your guide and installed it as you said and bang site sorted…
I have a little issue with my blog as I added a wordpress blog to the old template and hacked at the main menu to keep your style. I just need to create a full page and then add it in I think….I will let you know how it goes.
Just a suggestion but you know in the template manager you can set the link to pages etc could there be an easy way of setting the link on the slider to a page of my choice..? If you see I have changed the text on the slider buttons and pointed them to different pages…I know you can do it, as I have done but I think it would make it even cooler if it was in the Template manager?
Also I love the custom css function ….very slick…I changed the red font on my pages to blue in second…so good you dont have to mess in the css
Well done! great work…it just gets better and better…
Regards
Paul
Hello Paul,
I’m happy to hear that you love the new version.
With the slideshow settings I was thinking of moving them to the settings area but held back because the captions must remain in the language files in order to support multiple languages. What I may do is move everything other than the captions. What do you think?
Yeah, the cool thing about the CSS function is that any changes will be retained in future versions.
